ProTyre Recycling was born in 2016 as a tyre recycling, collection and disposal company in Scotland, United Kingdom. However, the team have many years’ experience when it comes to all things tyre recycling related.

The company Director has worked in the industry for many years and he had noticed that for quite some time, there didn’t seem to be anywhere that properly handled the waste management of tyres.

He began to research the people who were currently doing it in Scotland and it became apparent that the companies offering this as a service were few and far between.

With this in mind, him and his friend, who is also a Director of the business, got their heads together to form a business that caters for the needs of the many businesses who require Tyre Recycling as a service. They spent a lot of time working on an idea of the most efficient and environmentally friendly way to dispose of the tyres….and so ProTyre recycling was born.

Before they even launched the business, there was already such a high demand for their services. Car repair garages, car showrooms, van & truck garages all needed a reliable service and a company they could trust.
